If you are like the rest of us you have a mix of 10 kegs, probably from 6 different manufacturers. And most don't know that there are 7 different combinations of poppets and gaskets once you factor in all of the pin lock and ball lock combination.
It turns out that the challenge figuring out which replacements you need is more complex than just coming up with the manufacturer. With some kegs, to ensure you received the correct poppet valves you alse need to know the model. And to complicate things even more, a lot of kegs have aftermarket replacement or swapped posts installed.

All of these choices made shopping for replacement poppet valves a royal pain, so much of a pain that we stopped selling replacement poppet valves because we got tired of shipping replacements back and forth.
So, like any other nagging problem, wait long enough and someone will come up with a solution. And someone did come up with a solution - they designed a universal replacement for all of those poppet valves we have been juggling around. These poppet valves are designed to replace any corny style poppet valve, and the neat part is once you buy them you never have to buy poppet valves for that keg again because the O-ring seal on our universal poppet valve is replaceable. |
